The Generac air-cooled standby generator with steel enclosure provides essential circuit power protection or up to whole house coverage when paired with Generac’s Service Rated Smart Switch™.
This model does not include a Transfer Switch.
This model features an external main circuit breaker and an At-A-Glance system status & maintenance interval indicator LEDs.

Additional features include:
• Evolution™ digital controller with Two Line LCD Display provides advanced control and programming capability along with diagnostics information at-a-glance. Sophisticated codes alert you to generator status at all times and have a digital hour meter display.
Controller can display information in any of (4) different languages (English / Spanish / French / Portuguese).
• Generac OHVI™ engine designed and built in the USA by Generac specifically for generator applications to deliver superior durability and long term performance
•Field selectable for Natural Gas or LP Gas Operation

The Air Cooled and Liquid-Cooled Scheduled Maintenance kits offer all the hardware necessary to perform a complete maintenance on our air cooled generators. Oil and coolant will need to be purchased separately based upon manufacturer recommendations listed below. Maintenance is recommended at every 200 hours or 2 years.

Transfer Switches

Generac Smart Switches are designed for use with single phase generators that utilize an Evolution™ Controller. The 100, 200, and 400 amp open transition switches are available in single phase in both service equipment rated and non-service equipment rated configurations. The 150 and 300 amp open transition switches are only available in a service rated equipment configuration . 100-200 amp Generac Smart Switches are housed in an aluminum NEMA/UL Type 3R enclosure*, with electrostatically applied and baked powder paint. The Heavy Duty Generac Contactor is a UL recognized device, designed for years of service. The controller at the generator handles all the timing, sensing, exercising functions, and transfer commands. * 300 & 400 amp switches are housed in a steel enclosure.
